I almost threw in the towel on my search for new music today until the last second I found the drone pop stylings of Morning Harvey. This psychedelic stoner pop band is from Brisbane, Australia and they do quite a good job of representing their robust psychedelic scene.

The brainchild of Spencer White, Morning Harvey was formed with his brother, Jack White, and members of Orphans Orphans, The Furrs, Moses Gunn Collective, and The Belligerents. This five-piece dream pop band released their second EP this month titled Love&Loveand and it is a glorious piece of psychedelic ecstasy. From the hazy and atmospheric single, "Smith Street Swap Meet" to the harmonious and melodic "T.I.D.E.," this collective of musicians play with vigor and inventiveness. The 5-track EP is full of sticky melodies, droney guitars, garage rock influences, and unmatched songwriting capabilities. They borrow influences from 90s alt rock and mix them with psychedelic sensibilities. For fans of Peace, Tame Impala, and Tribes.
