Southern California's very own, Cursed Graves, will be releasing their debut LP, California Noise, through Broke Hatrê Records this summer. In anticipation toward the August 21 release date, the California punk trio have released a music video to accompany their first single, "Deliver Me," which mixes classic rock songwriting with a steadfast punk ethos, guttural yelps, blissed out distorted guitars, dynamic and punishing drums, and a pinch of bath salts.

Sticking to their eerie and spooky aesthetic, the video is shot in a dark room and features television static and the band's faces obscured by traditional Japanese masks. "Deliver Me" perfectly encapsulates the aggression and ferocity of this very heavy yet melodic band. The song kind of makes you want to punch a baby when no one is looking. It sounds like the soundtrack to the Big Bang. It feels like you're haphazardly drifting and speeding in a car with a madman. The singer's vocals sound throaty, guttural, and like he's inhaled gas fumes and asbestos all his life, all ingredients for a perfect hardcore screamer.

Behind the masks, lie the faces of skilled musicians with a knack for songwriting. Be prepared to listen to your new favorite punk act.
